The Hon'ble Chief Justice of the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court has accepted the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee, promoting Mr Muhammad Sharif from Senior Civil Judge in Skardu (BPS-19) to the position of Addl. District & Sessions Judge (BPS-20) on an acting charge basis. This promotion adheres to general rules 8-B(1) of part-1 (appointments by promotion or transfer). Mr Muhammad Sharif's new assignment is at the Court of Addl. District & Sessions Judge in Gilgit, serving the public interest, effective from 1st August 2023 until further orders.
