The Hon'ble Chief Justice of the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court, Mr. Justice Ali Baig heard an urgent case from Istanbul (Turkey) through a video link that was fixed for today 24th May 2022 at 11 am at the principal seat of Gilgit Baltistan Chief Court Gilgit. The Lawyers presented their arguments through a video link from Gilgit (Pakistan).

Inauguration Of First Digital Court

The first digital court in the history of Gilgit Baltistan has been installed at the principal seat Gilgit Baltistan Chief Court (court room No 1).

Stone Breaking Ceremony Of Judges Hostel

A simple and graceful stone breaking ceremony of Judges Hostel Gilgit Baltistan at the premises of Gilgit Baltistan Chief Court was held on Tuesday 17th May 2022. The ceremony commenced with the recitation from Holy Quran. The worthy Registrar warmly welcomed the Guests/Participant.On the occasion, Hon'ble Chief Justice Mr Justice Ali Baig in his speech said that the Judges Hostel was a longstanding necessity of GB Judiciary and became possible due to the concerted efforts of Gilgit Baltistan Chief Court with the cooperation of concerned departments of Gilgit Baltistan Government. He added that the project will included 14 rooms with the area of -- -canal. The ceremony was also attended by the Hon'able Judges Justice Malik Inayat-ur-Rehman, Justice Johar Ali Khan, Justice Raja Shakeel Ahmed, the worthy Registrar Gilgit Baltistan Chief Court, the learned District and Session udge Gilgit, the Secretary law and prosecution Gilgit, the learned Judges of subordinate Judiciary of District Gilgit, President and Members GB Bar Associations.
Gilgit Ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks to and from Hon'ble Chief Justice.
