A Grateful Farewell to a Remarkable Registrar
The Chief Court of Gilgit-Baltistan hosted a heartfelt farewell ceremony in honour of the esteemed Registrar, Mr. Ghulam Abbas Chopa. The event was graced by the Honourable Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Ali Baig, along with the Honourable Judges of the Chief Court, respected Judges of the subordinate judiciary, and Chief Court staff.
During the ceremony, the Honourable Chief Justice openly appreciated Mr. Ghulam Abbas Chopa tireless efforts and invaluable contributions toward the digital transformation of the Gilgit-Baltistan judiciary. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in laying the foundation for a more efficient, transparent, and accessible justice system.
On this occasion, Mr. Ghulam Abbas Chopa was also congratulated on his well-earned appointment as Judge of the Banking Court. In his parting words, he expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to staying connected with the Chief Court, especially in three key areas: Court digitalization, the Judicial Academy, and ongoing development projects — recognizing that sustainable progress in these sectors requires continued collaboration and expertise.
