Court Timings Notification – Effective 26 March 2026
The Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court has issued a notification revising official working hours for the Chief Court and all District Courts/Offices of the GB Judiciary, effective 26 March 2026 until further orders.
Key Details:
Working Days: Monday to Thursday
Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Break Time: 12:40 PM – 1:10 PM (Prayer/Lunch break)
Applicability: All GB Chief Court and District Courts/Offices
Compliance: District & Sessions Judges to ensure implementation across subordinate courts
This notification has been issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Chief Justice.
